Fashion meets Eco Friendly

In 2010 Inditex Group opened up a new "eco-friendly" flagship store in Rome! Stunning and eco-friendly at the same time, smart move for the company! The store is housed in a building that is 120 yrs old with 5 floors and 170 workers! With this new opening Inditex increased its # of stores to 5000 in 77 countries around the world! The environmental impact of this store rather than a normal shop is that they use 30% less energy and reduces 70% water consumption while avoiding the emission of more than 200 tons of CO2(carbon dioxide) per year. This store hopes to earn a LEED(leadership in energy and environmental design) certification with their "green" efforts.
